Troubleshooting
Common connection issues, solved
App can't find my TV
Confirm both devices share the same Wi‑Fi network and that it isn't a guest network with client isolation enabled. Restarting your router's Wi‑Fi and reopening the app resolves most cases.
The remote keeps disconnecting
Weak Wi‑Fi signal near the TV is the most common cause. Moving your router closer or using a Wi‑Fi extender near the TV usually fixes intermittent drops.
Pairing code never appears
Some Google TV models only display a pairing code the first time a new device connects. If nothing appears after 30 seconds, restart the RemoteWave app and try again.
Keyboard input doesn't reach the TV
