Local network information
To find and control your Roku TV or Roku streaming player, the App requests local network access on your phone. This lets the App scan your Wi‑Fi network for compatible Roku devices and send remote-control commands — navigation, playback, and channel shortcuts — directly to your device. This communication happens locally between your phone and your Roku device — it is not routed through our servers.
Private Listening audio
If you use the App's Private Listening feature, your Roku device's audio is streamed to your phone and played through your connected headphones. This audio is processed on your device in real time and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us.
Device and usage information
We may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, App version, and crash or performance diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and keep the App compatible with Roku OS updates.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App's remote-control, channel shortcut, and Private Listening features.

What We Don't Do
