Local network information
To find and control your LG webOS smart TV, the App requests local network access on your phone. This lets the App scan your Wi‑Fi network for compatible LG TVs and send remote-control commands — including pointer-style navigation, input switching, and text entry — directly to your TV. This communication happens locally between your phone and your TV — it is not routed through our servers.
Device and usage information
We may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, App version, and crash or performance diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and keep the App compatible with webOS updates.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App's remote-control and pointer-navigation features.
