Information We Collect
Local network information
To find and cast to your Chromecast device, the App requests local network access on your phone. This lets the App discover compatible Chromecast devices on your Wi‑Fi network and send casting commands directly to them. This communication happens locally between your phone and your Chromecast device — it is not routed through our servers.
Photo and video library access
To cast your own photos and videos to the TV, the App requests access to your phone's photo and video library. The App only accesses the specific photo or video you choose to cast — it does not upload, scan, or transmit your library to us or any third party.
Screen mirroring
If you use the screen mirroring feature, the App captures your phone's on-screen display and streams it directly to your selected Chromecast device over your local network. This stream is not recorded or stored by us.
Device and usage information
We may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, App version, and crash or performance diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and keep the App compatible with Chromecast firmware and Google Cast protocol updates.
How We Use Information
