To find and control TVs and streaming boxes running Android TV OS — regardless of brand — the App requests local network access on your phone. This lets the App scan your Wi‑Fi network for compatible Android TV devices and send remote-control commands — navigation, playback, and app launching — directly to your device. This communication happens locally between your phone and your Android TV device — it is not routed through our servers.
Device and usage information
We may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, App version, and crash or performance diagnostics. This helps us fix bugs and keep the App compatible with Android TV OS updates across device brands.
